Home / About Us
For generations, a powerful story has been told within the global African diaspora. It’s a story of dual identity, of professional success in capitals around the world, and of a deep, persistent connection to the continent we call our heritage. It’s also been a story of frustration.
We saw trillions in diaspora wealth and intellectual capital sitting on the sidelines. We sent remittances to support our families but longed to build a lasting, generational legacy. We saw the headlines about an “Africa Rising” but were locked out of the tangible, institutional-grade investments that were shaping that rise. We saw the immense potential for an economically sovereign continent but lacked a trusted, professional vehicle to help build it.
This disconnect—between our capacity and our impact, between our ambition and our access—is the reason the Africa & Diaspora Economic Network (ADEN) was born.
ADEN was founded on a simple, powerful, and non-negotiable belief: the greatest engine for Africa’s 21st-century prosperity is its own 1.8 Billion people, on the continent and across the globe.
We reject the old narratives of aid and dependency. We believe in the power of the private sector, the wisdom of Africapitalism, and the immense potential of disciplined, African-led investment. We believe that when Global Africa moves from being passive spectators to active equity partners, a transformative shift occurs.
We are not just building a network; we are mobilizing a movement. We are the architects, the builders, and the primary stakeholders in our own ascendant future.
Join the community connecting ambitious African investors, professionals and entrepreneurs worldwide.

Our mission is to forge the platform that empowers Global Africa to become the primary architects and beneficiaries of the continent’s economic transformation. We do this by providing the three things that have been missing: a trusted community, actionable intelligence, and a professional conduit for capital.
